Kenny grew up in Rutherford, New Jersey and at age 11 moved

to Eureka, Montana.  He's been in Northwest Montana ever since.

He has been working in the Ag business for 26 years.

At 21 years old, Kenny traded his motorcycle for a guitar and

also got lessons from the gent.  He taught him to play

'Sweet Home Alabama' and Kenny was hooked deeply ever since.

He began to write and sing his own lyrics and has become a

Master Blues Writer.  He prefers to play and sing Rockin Blues

and mostly original music.  He now co-writes with a Cool Gent,

Cliff Purcell.

Kenny formed and has been playing with the Blue Onion Band,

here in the Northwest Region of Montana, for the past 11 years.

You can visit them at BlueOnionBand.com.

The Blue Onion Band has performed on some very worthy stages

at Blues Fests and Rock Fests throughout the Northwest.  They

have performed at 'Rockin The Rivers' for the past 6 years

(rockintherivers.net) on the same stage with bands from

Alice Cooper to Marshall Tucker Band.  They have recorded

several CDs that get air play on the local NW Blues Stations

and are well known in the local area.

Recently, Kenny joined forces with Drummer, Mark Miller, from

Big Daddy & The Blue Notes, and Bassist, Mark Cornett, from

20 Grand and Moonshine Mountain, who plays a 6-string bass.

They have 70 years of combined Rockin Blues experience!

Kenny also plays with a Worship Team at Whitefish Church of

the Nazarene.  All this is in his 'spare time.'

Kenny's main influences come from Lead Guitarists,

Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Gary Moore, Warren Haynes from the

Allman Brothers and Government Mule, Robin Trower and of

course, the late, great, Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Some say you can almost see the neck of Kenny's guitar bend

as he plays and sustains some heavy Blues Notes.................

He hopes to open his own ROCKIN BLUES COFFEE HOUSE in

downtown Kalispell, Montana and once it's open he looks

forward to playin the Blues for you!

In the meantime, keep checking the schedule and come see

Kenny sing & play some heavy guitar and Rockin Blues with the

Kenny James Miller Band at their next booking!
